Who we are
Our firm combines experience built across public and private law with a specialised commercial law practice. Our founder, Cabir Aliyev, has 15 years of professional experience in construction law and FIDIC contracts, civil liability, and constitutional and administrative law. His experience includes serving as a CEPEJ expert on judicial reform projects carried out in cooperation with the UN, the Council of Europe and the OSCE.
Our team also includes attorney Ofelya Hasanova, who practises in commercial contracts, construction projects, intellectual property and data protection. Ofelya Hasanova holds an LL.M. from the Netherlands and the CIPP/E certification in personal data protection. Another team member, Khanim Ismayilova, contributes to the firm's international arbitration and cross-border work with professional experience gained in Malta and her legal education at the University of Bologna.
A significant share of our work involves foreign parties, foreign law elements or clients based outside the country. We therefore provide legal services in Azerbaijani, English and Turkish, and prepare our advice with cross-border legal and commercial consequences in mind from the very first stage.
We believe effective legal support begins with understanding what matters most to our clients. We take the time to understand their objectives, priorities and individual circumstances, allowing us to tailor our advice to their specific needs. We value clear communication, careful analysis and a practical understanding of the challenges our clients face. By combining these principles, we aim to build lasting professional relationships and provide legal support that clients can rely on as their needs evolve and new challenges arise.
